The best. Oh, I said it. The BEST steaks in Columbia, MO. You won't find a better filet in NYC.

This place is not cheap, but it is worth every penny! They have these twice-baked potatoes with jalapenos that are amazing!
And the service has no parallel in CoMo. They carry the specials board to you! And I love the presentaion of the plate- a great "tah-dah!" moment.

Abigail is right - the presentation was amazing (I even took a picture of my salad's unique plating) and my steak had great flavor. Even the baked potato was better than your average spud!

Great patio in the summer, and the steaks are always done perfectly. The price is a little steep, but for a nice evening out, you can't beat CC's service and taste.

It's a great pleasure to finally be able to tell the truth about this place. First, the filets aren't prime they're choice... you can get the same quality meat at sams..which is where, for the last 2-3 months, they've been buying their salmon. and on occasion their strips. The twice baked potatoes are merely instant potatoes jazzed up a bit... not worth 8 bucks...the rest of the fish is brought in every other week, at most, and is sold well past its prime. and if you order a steak medium or above...its microwaved. Bon apatite

I tried this restaurant twice. Both times they were out of the items I wanted. The steaks were over cooked both times. I asked for med-rare and they were just over med. The apps and salads are really good. Service is wondeful and the atmosphere is great. They don't have a clue about steaks. The steaks were not that good of a cut for the price I payed.

I cannot help but chuckle every time I hear someone claim that CC's City Broiler has the "best steaks" in the midwest, possibly better than NYC! HA! They use the same grade of meat as AppleBee's or any other restaurant in Columbia, no Mid Missouri for that matter. Yes CC's is a fancy restaurant, yes it is expensive but no it is not impressive at all. Everything is served a la carte so you will need to spend an additional, lets say $8 for a baked potato which wouldn't be so bad if you weren't already spending $30+ on the steak itself. Normally that isn't a deal breaker for me as long as the quality, presentation, and taste are worth the price tag, but they are not at all. Yes, their presentation of their salad might woo a rookie however they do not use all local food, or organic food, or really anything special to where it would dictate a higher cost. No, they simply charge an arm and a leg for a fancied Applebee's steak with some inexpensive garnishes that are supposed to wow me? No thanks! In addition to all this, the service EVERY time I have visited this place has been atrocious! My fiance and I are immediately pegged as "college kids" and treated like so. We enjoy spending our hard earned money in fancy restaurants but this one is not worth a penny of it! Please save yourself some money and visit the other exceptional fine dining establishments in Columbia, such as the Wine Cellar, Chris McD's, or Grand Cru just to name a few.
